I came from a village in China. I was from a Buddhist family and I didn’t know anything about church. Ever since I came to the US, I have been working to earn money for a living. After I retired, I took care of my grandchildren. On Saturdays and Sundays, I went to casinos with my friends and gambled away all the money I had on me. I felt that life is meaningless, purposeless, and boring.
Through the support and encouragement from sisters in Christ, I started to attend Sunday Worship, listen to hymns, and listen to Pastor’s sermons. I felt very happy and peaceful. Through the passionate care from sisters in Christ, I accepted Christ.
I admit that I am a sinner. The Lord Jesus Christ shed his blood and died on the cross for my sins. He resurrected after three days. He washed away my sin with His blood. I am willing to accept Christ as my savior, and I am willing to turn my life to Him for He is my way and my light. I will follow His path and I will do things that please Him. I pray that God gives me wisdom and faith to learn His words, and I thank Him for providing for my life.
